Originally from Savannah, Georgia, I graduated from Savannah Christian High School in 2012. Upon graduation I received a baseball scholarship from Valdosta State where I played baseball and went to school my freshman year. Next, after my freshman year I attended Junior College at Southern Union State Community College my sophomore year. Then I received a baseball scholarship to Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia where I finished my collegiate baseball career, played rugby, and received my undergraduate degree in Human performance. Upon graduation in 2017, I moved to Troy, Alabama to get close to family while taking a job at Pike Liberal Arts School teaching physical education, assisting with football and baseball, and taking on the role of Junior Varsity baseball head coach. My tenure at Pike Liberal Arts School lasted 2 years before taking the middle school history teaching position here at Ariton high School in 2018. Here at Ariton I teach World History and Civics, and help coach varsity football and baseball. I am married to my beautiful wife Sierra Austin, and we currently live in Troy, Alabama. Everyday I look forward to impacting students and athletes in a positive way. God Bless!
