Hello! My name is Heather Smith and I am proud to teach science to your 7th and 8th grade Purple Cats.   I have taught for 19 years with classroom experience in Kindergarten and 5th grade; as well as, experience as an elementary instructional coach and reading specialist.

I am married and have two daughters, Ella and Emily. Both of my girls are proud Purple Cat students and athletes.  They are involved in cheer, volleyball, soccer, and softball so I am sure to see many of you at games throughout the year. GO CATS!!!

When we are not at practices and games, we love spending time outdoors. Our favorite spots are Lake Eufaula, Cold Water Creek, Gulf Coast beaches, and traveling to our National Parks.
