I graduated from Carroll High School in 1988. I attended Troy University and received a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I worked in the Computer Programming/Systems Analyst field before making my transition into education. I taught at Charles Henderson High School for 12 years, before coming to Ariton in the 2018-2019 school year. I LOVE it! I feel blessed to be a PURPLE CAT! 

My husband, Mark, and I have been married 33 years in 2023. He farms row crops and poultry houses. We have a son, Noah, who is married to Haley, and they are parents to our first grand-daughter, Saylor. Our daughter, Lexi, is married to Cade Curtis, and they will become parents to our 2nd granddaughter in 2024.
