HEEEEEEEYYYYYY.......YOU HAVE JUST REACHED THE WORLDS GREATEST ALABAMA FAN WELL ONLY SECOND TO COACH LANEY! ROLL TIDE!I am also a great PURPLE CAT FAN of any sport. My name is Starla Cherry but better known as Coach Cherry or "hey" Miss Coach and of course Miss PE Teacher. I am currently in my 19th year of teaching at Ariton School. I have taught at other schools but was glad to come home and retire one day from Ariton. That only makes sense because I started my education here as a child in a white house where our playground is today. I can still remember playing in the kudzu and finding a snake in our classroom. My parents Earl and Jackie Danner also graduated from Ariton. You may know them better as "Papa Earl" and my mother as "Jackie the City Clerk." I have one sister which also is an alumni of Ariton. Her name is Sheila Dunn. I have three girls Calen who is 30 and teaches PE and coaches at Straughn High School, Claire 27 who is an eye care assistant and Hollis is 20 and a student at Troy University working on a nursing degree. Our blood truly does run PURPLE!!
